A fifth community card is dealt face up (the “River”)and the fourth and final betting round. At the Showdown, each player plays the best five-card hand they can make using any five cards from the two pocket cards and the five community cards (or Board Cards). A table with less than four players is known as short-handed and when there are only two players it is called heads-up. Jumping on the next step, when you have to start the game everyone will show one of their highest-ranked cards. The highest ranked amongst all will get a chance to start the game through betting. This person will be called a dealer.

Before the cards are dealt, forced bets called the “Big Blind (BB)” and the “Small Blind (SB)” (or Little Blind) are made. The Small Blind position is always the seat to the left of the Dealer, and the Big Blind is the seat to the left of the Small Blind.

Once the first round of betting has started you will get a turn in which you have to decide your act. When you feel the need to increase the bet you have to say raise. When you want to increase betting more than before, you have to say re-raise.
